Government Emergency Plans
These are plans that address a specific hazard. They fall under the auspices of a lead agency (the ministry with the legislative or regulatory role for that hazard), which provides the subject-matter expertise. The AEMA acts as the coordinating agency, ensuring the right representatives are present when planning and operations are conducted in the Provincial Operations Centre (POC), and ensuring the Incident Actions Plan planning process is implemented, and facilitating planning meetings, and coordinating the activity in the POC.
